[Irfaan Gaffar] As Frank Seravalli is reporting, yes a number of teams are interested in Boeser. As of yesterday his camp was told the Canucks would give it another 2/3 weeks to see where the team is at unless they receive an offer they can’t refuse. No chatter from either side about extension.

Ooof rough game.

I think this was the first game that Demko wasn't godtier, let in 2 softies. Although the Canucks had a long break and didn't play for a while. Finally a game the team steals 1 for Demko instead.

Terrible effort at the end, gave a point to the sharks, allowing a goal with 0.6 seconds left in the 3rd. That single point might be huge later on.

Canucks special teams are truly special, different coach, same joke. Definitely players problem rather than coaching at this point.

On the brightside, Miller, boeser and garlands price going up.

Can't believe he's 27yrs old alrdy. For some reason I thought he would be like 24. I don't think he's the type of player the Canucks are looking for either.

Out of Miller, boeser, garland, which 1 player would you pick to be traded? Assuming all 3 get good value back.

To me Garland is the easy choice to keep.

Young enough, locked up @ a good number, never cheats you for effort, seems like the type of player that would be wired for the playoffs.

When it comes to Miller, my first priority would be re-sign him but that contract will be scary. And if I'm keeping Miller, I think I keep Boeser to be his winger and trade Horvat lol.

If Miller isn't in the future plans, I trade Boeser as well.

Do the canucks have any dead contracts left or did they rid themselves of those

I feel like if you have the cap space you have to keep miller, he still has (hopefully) 3-5 years of his prime left. I’d assume the canucks plan/would be in their window to win within 5 years

they have dead cap for next year, buyouts from Virtanen and Holtby, and bonus to pay Halak, approx 3.5m+

also need to get rid of some inefficient players on the team, like Dickinson & Poolman, cuz Schenn is providing much more value than Poolman at significantly less cap.

I think the Canucks would definitely sign Miller if he wants to stay in Vancouver, but I think he prefers to go back to the states. Probably why they wanna trade him while his value is at highest. He would also bring the most return for the team, and fill the most needs like having a long term RHD to play with Hughes etc. It's just harder to try to "win" with Miller if he is making 8m+ AVV on his 3rd - 5th+ years of the contract cuz there's a high chance that he won't be as great as he is this season.

Shameful.

All the fans that paid for a ticket should get a refund.

What a joke.

Fun fact, since Boudreau was hired, Tanner Pearson has as many points at even strength as John Tavares. Playing at 48pt pace, with little to none powerplay time. I guess he's playing his ass off to not get traded by Rutherford/Alvin for the 3rd time lmfao.

Seems like Petey finally got rid of the rust for not playing much games the past couple years cuz he's heating up back to what we are used to watching.
