Capgeek is misleading. Tatar and dekeyser may end up buried (grumble grumble) and Alfredsson has 2m that can be deferred, so wings actually have around 4m in space. Course that also will leave us with 14 1-way forward contracts + probably nyquist so uh...

Entirely possible Helm and Samuelsson spend a lot of the season on LTIR so there is that too.

I don't see Selanne going to another NHL team.

No way in Hell Dekeyser gets buried in AHL....Hes already top 3 dman on the Wings.

Wings have 6 1-way D contracts :/ so someone's gotta go. Dekeyser is the only NHL ready d-man they have on a two way contract and would be the logical snub IF they focus on shedding cap. I want Quincey gone so there is no question.

I'm a bit frustrated, I get that it's a tough decision which 12 F and 6 D we will ice but imo it is unacceptable that as it stands there will potentially be five one-way contracts on the Griffins this year.

Yay im ganna enjoy learning a lot more about a whole new team joining our division.

They will put Quincey through waivers then AHL since noone will take him before sitting out Dekeyser...He's already a key component of the Wings D core

They didn't go out and sign Weiss and Alfredsson only to have some of the top guys sit in grand rapids. Dekeyser will play

The Wings are going to play their best guys this year and make a push
