there's no point in railing about Green or Benning or anyone in the roster. this is 100% an ownership problem right now. at its most charitable, this is a playoffs bubble team with the farm sold to make it happen. it's failing in spectacular fashion. and Fredo thinks one-on-ones are enough, as if only a little extra motivation is needed. guess when you get richer by the minute without lifting a finger you don't have to use your brain a lot.

Who gets to coach for five years with a losing record? He gets to stay because he is a yes man and aquaman is too cheap to hire another coach.

J.T Miller was asked "is everyone is buying in".... He responds with a muttered "I don't know".

Players are dragging their feet because they want Green gone. Sick of the line juggling. Ownership won't do a damn thing, so as a fan I think the best thing we can do is not give this team a dime.

There's a bunch of rumors like there's a divide in the locker room btwn horvat, Pearson, (vets) VS younger core. Another rumor that it's actually Miller led with young skill guys VS horvat etc.

Also dunno how legit or fake news this is but



What a mess

Not surprised by this to be honest, although I would take the perspective of a players GF with a grain of salt / could be exaggerated.

I played with Garland in junior and his ego is out of this world, wouldn’t be surprised if he is square in the middle of the toxicity. Hopefully not, I liked him but he is as egocentric as it gets.

The locker room shit is a result of the people on top rotting the organization for years. Good staff and players walking because of management egos and bad cap management. GMing like the next season never matters. Repeated failure not being punished or learn from. It doesn't matter how much you're being paid, people get frustrated when they're playing for a losing organization that doesn't want to get out of the hole.

Horvat is a "don't rock the boat" guy while Miller is fiercely vocal and competitive so it makes sense there'd be a split between those who have had enough and those who'd rather keep their heads down because it's outside of their control. But either camp reflects the fact the org plain sucks right now.

Not going to put too much stock into those rumors.

Petey has no room to have an ego. He has not won shit.

That one is tough to believe for me. He seems so humble but maybe he is just well coached by his agent. A lot of players have a fake personality when the cameras are on.



The situation spoken of was similar to what happened in Phildelphia about 10 years ago.

You had the young party guys like Carter and Richards in one camp and Veterans like Pronger and Timmonen in the other camp.


In the end Carter and Richards got traded and won two cups in L.A. Watch something like that happen to the Canucks haha.
