Fire the coaching and special teams staff (except goalie coach <3).

Stop hiring ex-Canucks to run things or people who had ties to the organization.

Go out and get proven winners.

We only have Ian Clarke in the org because he's a Vancouver native who decided to come back, and the front office almost failed to keep him.

It's embarrassing how many contributing guys who wanted to stay weren't prioritized like Brackett, Toffoli and Tanev just so Benning could chase after yes-men and broken toys.

It's more that Gorton built the cup winning Bruins single handedly as an interim GM over a span of a couple months.

Wikipedia:
He worked in Boston as assistant general manager for seven seasons and served as the team's interim general manager from March 25, 2006, until July 15, 2006.[2]

In his time as interim general manager of the Bruins, Gorton most notably ran the 2006 NHL Entry Draft which produced for the Bruins Phil Kessel, Milan Lucic and Brad Marchand. At the same draft, Gorton traded goaltender Andrew Raycroft to the Toronto Maple Leafs for goalie prospect Tuukka Rask.[3] Raycroft was coming off a subpar season and his two-year stint in Toronto would prove disastrous, with the Leafs buying him out of the final year of his contract.[4] Rask, meanwhile, had been selected in the first round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by Toronto and went on to win the Vezina Trophy as the league's best goaltender in the 2013-14 season.[5] Rask has also led the Bruins to two Stanley Cup Finals appearances; in 2013 and 2019. On July 1, Gorton signed Zdeno Chara and Marc Savard as free agents. Chara would go on to win the Norris Trophy in 2009 as the NHL's best defenseman while under the contract signed by Gorton.

He built the team that shouldnt have beat us in 2011 and he's rebuilt the Rangers into a playoff team in a very quick turnaround time.

True, but Benning and Chiarelli was part of that group when the Bruins won. Each went their seperate ways and all got fired, Benning should be next. I think Chris McFarland will be a good candidate, sakics right hand man. However, I get the feeling that aqualini is gonna find another new guy, like promote Ryan Johnson, or Weisbrod and we fucking pray lol

So Aquilini is going to meet Jim to try to figure out what is going wrong and how to turn it around.

The owner, who's Jim's boss, doesn't know what's going on after almost 8 years of tire fires and tall promises.

Mindboggling.

Some saying it could be a money issue - him not wanting to fire and pay these guys while he also pays the replacements - but I don't think they've been hit as hard by COVID as some other owners.

And Gillis + Torts had a lot more money left on their deals when they were canned.

Belief from the fans is the lowest it's been since the Keenan era over 20 years ago.

How they keep thinking this is acceptable, I'll never know.

You forgot the part where the Canucks asked the media to tone down the negativity  pathetic.

If Benning grows some balls and says you, he would get canned right awat. However he is a God tier yes man, so that probably won't happen

Canucks GM, Jim Benning met with ownership today to discuss Vancouvers early season challenges and how the group can be better. Don’t expect drastic off-ice changes. For the moment, the plan is to remain patient and continue to work with the team and personnel.

as expected

Aqualini: what happened??
Benning: Yes sir
Aqualini: ok, ill tell our local media to tone down the negativity. I'll start by pulling advertising/sponsorship from some of them that refuse to

Not even surprised anymore.

Aquaman has no clue wtf he is doing but demands everyone be yes men to him. How can the team succeed under those parameters?

Egomaniac playing with Dads money. What could go wrong.
