i dont know if thats necessarily true.

i think it has more to do with the blues being stacked at RHD.


the blues are moving forward with pietrangelo and parayko as their 2 top RHD's, and even then the blues defensive prospect pipeline is pretty solid.

so even trading shatty, the blues will have pietrangelo, parayko, bouwmeester, gunnarson, edmundson, bortuzzo as their nhl guys, with schmaltz, dunn, walman abd lindbohm as high end prospects.


id love for the blues to unload bouwmeesters contract instead, but i consider this more of a thing where the blues are dealing from a position of strength to address weaknesses.

Never say never but at this moment I don't think Habs see a Subban trade they would make. They listened, yes, but nothing good enough.
