We are lacking a 6th winger (Miller should be the 5th and not playing center with plugs) but Pearson ain't it.

Rather give Pod an extended look on a sheltered offensive line.

Hog and Garland as wingers on the same line needs to be tried as well.

Yeah with Hughes, Canucks controlled like 55% of puck throughout the first 3 games. Without him and against the powerhouse undefeated Sabres, they were 45%. This team is in trouble if Hughes gets hurt lol

Burroughs looked surprisingly good for a 3rd pair dman with Rathbone.

Trade Miller at deadline.

Maybe swap Garland/Hog/Pod are interchangable until it works.

I like Bo - Garland as the set pair to be a shutdown line against elite lines yet dangerous enough it needs to be respected.

Shocked how much Miller has fallen off. That first year he was a beast.

Would have never thought he would end up being expendable so quickly.

Not sure why Burroughs got scratched for Hunt? Hunt looked awful. Maybe a hometown thing.

Am liking JL91 and Dowling as depth guys.

Miller needs to be off PP1 - He wants everything through him on the far halfwall but all he does is cough up the puck. Let it flow through Petey or Hughes.

I hope they try something like this next game, lammikko has been a surprise.

PP1 needs a new setup, the league and even fans figured it out. It's way too predictable. They need to be moving around like pp2.

I think Pearson is on the PP because he's the only player that could play in front of net for screens aside from chiasson

They seem to value that a lot, but I don't know what the point of that is if they're mostly stationary and taking predictable shots. I think it's better to try completely different, maybe have nobody screen and just make a lot of movement til they get a good shot off

Agreed we're way too stationary with the choices we have.
Movement creates screens and other issues for goalies without having to park a dedicated guy out front.

If Boeser Hughes Petey can figure out how to be a strong top of an umbrella our PP is mostly sorted.
But they all need to get comfortable being the passer/shooter without telegraphing it.
Put Bo/Pod/Garland/Miller with them and thats the top PP unit.
