Hughes was not at practice today, could be just a rest day for him because he played so much in few days. Hopefully that's the case and he isn't hurt or anything.

We're not that good so the margin is thin and he sabotages himself with dumb decisions like stapling Pearson to Horvat in the top-6 for absolutely no reason.

I think the reason for that is cuz he wants hogs with petey/boes, so that leaves horvat with pearson/dowling/lammiko.

Canucks played their best game against detroit, but they got goalie'd hard, i think their expected goals for rate that game was close to 4 but they only had 1 goal. Also another game management by the refs. Ridiculous how fabbri viciously slashes garland with intent to harm which should be an easy major, but didn't even call a minor on it.

Most hilarious thing before all this is when Garland was playing the puck and defending it, tries to stop, tucks his elbow in and Zadina skates into him head first, and Garland gets a 5min penalty which turned into 2 min after fucking up big time.

Being an NHL coach would be ezpz, just send your players head first into other players and get power plays lol.

Garland is great at drawing penalties.

Hughes is a gr8 dmen, canucks d being exposed without him and playing like how everyone expected their backline to be

Was optimistic about this team making the playoffs.

Expected the defense to be pretty bad. Safe to say they are even worse than I expected lol.

One guy being out should not equate a complete meltdown.

VS Detroit the Canucks had over 40 shots. With a bad defense that is how much you are going to need to put up to give yourself a chance to win.
