Canadian dollar is shit that's why they arent getting an expansion team.... 500M us now 640M canadian. QC not big enough to pay that. Relocation will be much cheaper and should come soon imo

I personally dont really get the trade, will he be what we need when we are ready to be a playoff team? he will be 30+ which is fine if he pans i guess goalies paly past that often but he's only had one season as a starter and his numbers weren't that significantly better than what we have had, and he will have a worse team in front of him.

I like the value of the trade but i think the signing is a going to hurt for FA too much to be worth it.

I guess we will let time tell, but i think your assumption that the leafs think hes great is more far fetched.

Looch has told Lebrun he will be hitting UFA.

Apparently the volume of calls to habs about subban has increased over the past 48 hours.

Washington post is reporting Vegas will be able to talk to unprotected players that are pending UFAs in order to gauge their interest. Idea is the team would then have less risk that they draft a pending UFA and that player walks to another team, thus wasting an expansion draft pick. They'll have 48 hours before the draft. Haven't seen it confirmed elsewhere. Writer appears to be their main caps reporter.
