Looking at all the bad deals that happens in the free agency I wouldn't be so sad.

I'd rather my team stay away from these bidding wars.

Sabres willing to trade 8th pick for top-end, left-shot defenseman
"If somebody offers us a top-end, young, left-shot" defenseman "and they demand our eighth overall pick and we feel it makes us better, we’ll do the trade."

this but it kinda works both ways depending who your gm is and if you have faith in him
i mean hextall says he wants to add possibly through Fa im excited simply becasue hes seemed to have given pretty reasonable deals
now if i were to hear hextalls looking for a trade id be shitting my pants after the hartsy for umburger deal :P
