maybe they felt zs expereince was better for center as its kind of a rover spot where u gotta read both offense and defensive plays
but idk cuz u wings fan were seriously never shutting up about larkins 2 way game all season
some players are just better at wing and some center... shit i know giroux started out as a RW but now hes prob like a top 10 center in the nhl
schenn was a center but hes knida moved to wing and seems to be finding his way
sometimes its good to move guys around they might end up better another position or at the very least gain versatility for when injuries come up
