so my group of friends play fantasy hockey and we call this dude BLACK MAGIK cuz his team on paper looks like shit, but always make it into playoffs as 8th seed or top seed or whatever, he ALWAYS makes it into playoffs.
Then he gets extremely lucky and wins it all 3 years in a row, 5 wins in 7 years. This season, we pwned his ass and said his black magic is no more cos he didn't make the playoffs.
Guess what happened? world wide pandemic, cancellation of season etc. Black magic man...
