i mean, i know androids pack a bigger punch in terms of technology, but iphones are just so easy and smooth and fluent in use it makes my life easier, and happy.
i like the simplicity and yet the power to do anything i need or want it to.

and honestly the keyboard on droids is rough, i still have nightmares of it.
i can type without looking on my iphone and have 90% accuracy,
i would have 10-15% maybe accuracy on android.

unless the keyboards have significantly improved over the last 1-2 years.

imo its improved
i first switched to android and got an s4 was a little rough .. i enjoyed it maybe felt a little unfinished ?
now have an s7 edge and if anything its better than my gf's iphone keyboard ...

the flaw with android phones is that the OS isn't geared towards one device so the optimization is off. it will never be as good as iOS unless the got rid of all phones and the galaxy was exclusive to android and that was it.

the price of iphone to android makes no difference to me because i will have the phone for 3-5 years. I don't upgrade every year.

I've used an iPhone for 10 years and I dont really ever plan to switch. It does everything I need smoothly. I've tried androids and wasnt a fan, it has been a while so maybe they are vastly improved but I wasnt impressed.

Only thing I wish the iPhone would do, is allow removeable storage media (like a micro SD) so that I wasnt always out of space. Obviously I doubt it'll ever happen because apple is greedy af.
