Official All Purpose D3 Topic - Topic

It's easy to balance for PVP, all they gotta do is change the numbers to make it make sense. However, just like D2, a lot of PVM skills won't transfer over to be effective PK skills.

No idea why they aren't focusing more on PKing. PK + Ladder is what kept D2 alive and D3 has neither. Nobody these days wants to play a PVM game really, most popular games are popular because there's competitive PVP.

Couldn't agree more with the second part. Blizzard are dummies.

yeah no ladder is whack
how do you make a pvm only game and not have a ladder... thats just asking for it to fail
but what do they care game dies and they revive with with a big hyped expansion pack they already got like 3 or 4 palnned iirc?

Way too much lvl anyway for a ladder...

In d2 you could be 90 in no time... and the max is 99.
Now the max is infinite... botter to the top, always, each ladder.

they could do it based on how many paragons gained that "season"
knida like they do with wow and honor/arena points
and if there was a hc ladder it might encourage ppl to play hc more becasue people die and you can catch up that way
