I've liked him on the wings but holland needs to shed cap space and we too have about 10 players who could go into our bottom 6. You can probably get him for pennies on the dollar, like a 5th or something.

*insert obligatory 5th pick that succeeded pre-rest of nhl scouting russia* like every wings fan does elsewhere when they say "give us a 7th so we can get a new datsyuk/zetterberg"

Don't know any wings fans who say that and if they do they're dumb.

If he dumps this season I wonder if hes bought out.
I doubt they could trade that contract unfortunately

With the amount of talent he has I'm sure a cellar/rebuild team would love to have him.

Plus as pre lockout contracts go, his isn't THAT bad. Max recapture for him will be 2.9m, and I don't see him playing competitively til 39 so it's more likely to be 1.5-ish.

henrique might not be the best player in the world but he's clutch and young

vanek is UFA after next year, even if he's one of the better scorers, inconsistent as hell though, a 1 year deal for henrique who's a RFA and get signed long term and he WANTS to be in buffalo
