What happened?

He made a save with the back of his head, basically.

ya burns shot point blank and marty twisted to raise the glove marty style but the puck hit him in the back of the neck where there isn't padding. marty didn't move for 30 seconds, but he did that to make sure nothing was damaged in his neck. he said he wasn't unconscious, just he felt like his body was being electrocuted and wanted to be sure he didn't break his neck..

was one of the scariest moments in hockey I've ever seen.

classy sharks fans were completely silent until he stood up and clapped when he was up
