was reading a frozen 4 artixcle and they brought up gostisbhere the flyers prospect

Among the key veterans for the Dutchman is junior defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere, the lone NHL draft pick on the team. The fact he was a 2012 third-round pick (No. 78) of the Philadelphia Flyers could make Union a local favorite.

Gostisbehere had eight goals and 21 assists in 40 games, his 29 points tied for seventh among college defensemen and his 151 shots on goal was No. 1 among defenders. He also tied Boston College defenseman Steven Santini for the lead among defenders with a plus-28 rating, is a finalist for ECAC Best Defensive Defenseman and made the top 10 in voting for the Hobey Baker Award.

"He's very dynamic," Bennett said. "I can see why people notice Shane a lot, because there's tremendous skills and excellent feet and he's very exciting to watch. He can break the puck out, he's good on the penalty kill, he's good on the power play. He's good in all facets of the game."

this guy looked really good for usa in the WJC and seems to keep getting better every year.... im excited to have him as a flyers prospect ..add him to hagg and morin were lookin good for the future

watched a bit of the F4 game and gostisbhere looked pretty good he got an assist on a shot from the point getting tipped
hes not big or anything hes kinda like a timo type player from what i saw and looks like hes got a nicer shot ^^

shitty loss tonight but giroux got his 82nd point guranteeing he goes point per game for the 3rd year straight and 3/4 seasons as the #1 c
in his 4 years as the #1 c hes got 287gp and 299points tho

also hes got 2 more games to play and hes 1 goal away from his career high of 28 wonder if he ties it or even passes it ... would be nice to see him hit 30 specially not scoring a goal for 15 games

Bylsma was mad at Hartnell for picking up on him. He said something like guy picking on a guy who had a stroke...

If he's back i think that means he recovered? Why do you play him and ask him to go in front of the net if you dont want him involved

Gostisbehere was a plus-7 with five shots on goal, was part of a penalty-killing unit that stopped the Gophers on three of its four power plays and was on the ice in the final seconds to help protect the lead.
He was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Frozen Four.
