I hope Kenny takes a run at Trouba, but Jets have too many RFAs coming up to take on significant salary, and getting Laine means Nyquist and Tatar aren't really valid chips anymore. Don't know how it could happen... but I want it to happen lol.

Reports coming in that the Executive Committee made its formal recommendation to the Board of Governors to move forward with the Vegas expansion. Next steps are for Foley to sign papers and send the money, and there'll be a vote on June 22nd to finalize the deal.

a vote to finalize the deal AFTER hes paid the fee?
what if they vote no o.O

The report wasn't clear on that, it was phrased more like "Foley needs to do X, the league needs to do Y." Didn't really give a sense of timeline but I'm sure they don't want another Spano situation so they might have him pay up front with the contingency for him that if it doesn't pass then he gets it back.

Gotcha. That + would be a high pick or one of your top prospects then no? Assuming shattenkirk agrees to 're sign?
