This year, there's no clear cut #1. So like any top pick can turn out great. It's kinda like peteys year when top end was meh but u can come out with steals like makar and Petey etc. Hischier ain't bad but clearly if redraft happened he's not going 1oa.

It would be such canucks thing for them to finally win a lottery and draft a bust.

if only Benning got the boot and Burke came back, he'd flip that 1st overall into two gems np

canucks 7th rounder making noise,

again, another possible NCAA prospect gem.

[Dhaliwal] Canucks prospect F Aiden McDonough is the player of the month In NCAA Hockey East, led in scoring with seven goals and 11 points in 8 games.

His five power-play goals were the most in the nation.

currently 19gp 10g 9a. potential bottom 6 filler later?! or another chip to trade

might be the last gift brackett gave lolnucks
hopefully the canucks continue to find gems in the NCAA without brackett.

difference is that he's a 1st rounder 14th overall pick,

this kid is a 7th rounder 195th pick.

Av was interviewed recently in French, he credited Burrows that he saved his job with the Canucks with his big playoff goals. Thus, without Alex Burrows AV would not have 1300 games coached and 700 wins in the NHL. He also says that among the players he had in Vancouver, the two he saw as coaches were Malhotra and Burrows. Both are now in the NHL coaching!

Statement game by virtnanen tonight. It's too bad he isn't consistent enough otherwise he's easily a top 6 forward. It's his first game this season he showed up to play. Nvm the goals, he back checked, made some hits, created momentum, etc.

He coulda had a hatty if Benn passed to him instead of shooting it on a. 2on1..

Great win tonight. I believe it's the first win through a comeback. 3 game win streak, Demko with 4 wins. He's literally doing what markstrom was doing for the team.

Ottawa has to upset more teams to help Lolnucks have a chance to get back into the race, but I don't see it happening. On the brightside, Habs look far worse after firing Julien. Their main problem was special teams, but now it feels like a bunch of things, maybe it's just them trying to adjust to a new coach/system.

Hopefully the Canucks can win another one on Wednesday!
