I wish they would release something to curb botting but I highly doubt it . Game is just so old at this point they likely dont have any real developers left, likely just people who fix minor bugs and reset the ladder

they hired a compeltely new d2 team a year or 2 ago iirc
they also just fixed tppk what a season or 2 ago? never too late to fix something
and over the past few resets they have really limited botting and made it much harder to run them
specially with no bot developers left to update or make new bots and stuff if they completely patch them its pretty much rip bots

maybe this is the reset with a new patch to finally put an end to them

its not possible to completely remove them. the one krzaq made in 2005 is still working well (running only pindle) but problem why ppl not use it, is becus u need 100+ keys to run just pindle 24/7
i still remember my record is somewhere ~22k runs in 12h with ~80 key. krzaq made over 40k runs / 12 hour

who the fuck is krzaq lol
and why were u using a crappy pindle bot in 2005 when jsp bot and jsp bot rip offs were out

TPPK was fixed a long, long time ago. Like 5 years ago now. Went and looked it up and it was in patch 1.13c (April 2010) that they fixed the majority of the ways to TPPK. That patch was basically the last content patch, the rest have just been bug or exploit fixes for the most part.



However, while I was looking through the various patches they did release a patch last year:


Looks like they are still collecting information on crashes, etc. But I still think this falls more into bug fixes than any major changes like fixing botting.

honestly unless you send me the direct preset up bot it wont work because i dont have cd less d2
pretty sure i know how to set it up you need to install with cd less d2 use a patch to like .10 then you log onto bnet through the bot and update it and it works
i cant do that because you need the cd less d2 i tried updating to .10 with normal d2 and it doesnt work

yea i dont have much hope tbh but i would for sure start playing on bnet again if it ever happens

bots crash a lot maybe they are collecting the data to make bots crash or notice a certain type of crash caused by bots
personally idc about bots get rid of triggers and chicken bring back good old hc loot duels not chicken shit hack wars
