Because Ottawa needs more overpaid, underperforming bums. Ryan and Nash. Nhls most expensive losers.

Benning has stated that he's not done shopping yet.

...did the ground just shake a bit in Vancouver?

I can almost hear the rivers of tears forming here on the coast. :)

I wasn't huge on McCann regardless. I think he'll do a lot better in the east than in the west. As long as Horvat, tanev, bear cheese, and boeser don't go anywhere i'm fine.

The New York Post is reporting the Rangers have no intention of buying out Girardi’s contract or asking the defenseman to waive his no-move clause. The 32-year-old has four years remaining on his deal with an annual cap hit of $5.5 million.

GLHF Rags fans.

Also

Rangers open to move everyone except Lundqvist, Buchnevich and Skjei

Somewhat contradicting but it's not like anyone wants Girardi anyway.

Shane Doan probably going to sign a 1-year deal with Coyotes.

Panthers working on 5 or 6 year deal with Trocheck

Probably something similar to Kadri's contract.

Huh, he's 3rd on their depth chart unless they're putting him above Bjugstad at this point. Either way, if Bjug gets back to form that's a disgusting triplet of center contracts between him, Barkov, and Trochek...

Definitely above Bjugstad right now who is probably a 3C in their minds.

It's also possible that he gets traded now that McCann is there but they might see McCann as a winger (I don't but others do).

Rumor of Kruger or Shaw being packaged with Bickell to Edmonton.

It'd probably be for two bust contracts, AKA free. Chicago might have to add a mid-round pick, too.

Kruger has been a very underrated contributor to the Hawks' success but that new extension might be too rich for their bottom-6.
