The knee is my least favorite injury spot next to lower back. You just can't escape the pain since even on crutches your knee is strained to an extent. Foot would come in a close 3rd.

Yeah I would rather twist an ankle than the knee for sure. The swelling was huge you couldn't even find my knee anymore it looked so crooked.

Anyone hosting thanksgiving? Looking for food ideas. Gonna have about 5 other people who also can't go home this week.

So far:
Turkey
Mashed potatoes with chives
Meatballs in a mushroom sauce, slow cooked
Kielbasa (appetizer)
Corn
Various fruit (strawberry, raspberry, pineapple)
Cheesy potatoes

I have a feeling that'll feed everyone but idk if there's anything I'm missing.

I have no clue how to do stuffing but fuck it, why not. And yeah we're gonna have beer for the football game and wine at the meal. Also apple crisp for dessert.

I'm gonna gain all my weight back on thursday. But leftovers for weeks!

Yeah I don't fuck with broken bones. The first bone I broke was a tiny fucking bone in your wrist just under the thumb between the thumb tendon and the radius. It hurt so bad but the doctor couldn't see the break and thought it was just a sprain. I played with that shit for 3 weeks in roller hockey and when it still hurt, they injected a radioactive dye to see the cracks better.

Turns out this tiny fucking pellet of a bone was one game away from being shattered and needing to be replaced by a plastic prosthetic. I would have never been able to fully use my left hand again. All because the bone was so small it was impossible to see the crack. As it was, I couldn't play hockey again til college.

So we're most likely starting a cosom hockey activity at work. I played regular hockey all my life, but surprisignly never cosom hockey. I imagine we will be playing by foot and not roller blades.

I guess I need to buy a new stick for cosom hockey? I can tell the difference between a cheap stick and a good stick to hit a puck with but what about cosom sticks? What are good ones?
