Yea I've got good strength in my triceps,  my problem is that because I'm tall and have long arms it takes forever to gain aesthetic size in my arms,  but their getting pretty good.

are you on cutting cycle? i'd guess yes since you're heavy and doing 5 sets

Today I did a random workout with a bud.

2x sets of 6 reps bench (95 lbs)
2x sets of 8 dumb-bell bench (30s in each hand)

Then went outside....

25 pull-ups...break when needed, no kipping
Run a lap (.5 mile track)
25 dips (break when needed)
Run a lap (.5mile)

Random post of the day. Lol.

GSG never feel bad about Friday night at the gym

Hit 3 plate deads for the first time B)

I'm having grip strength issues, all my buddies who cant lift nearly as much tell me I should get straps. I'm hesitant. Personally I dont think their necessary until 400+, any thoughts here seeing how you seem to lift frequently.

I personally don't see a big issue in it. You're not going to be competing in any kind of natural lifting competitions or whatever so it's not like you need to practice lifting without straps.

Use the straps on your super heavy lifts, but just make sure you take em off when you can.

I use my grizzly gloves when I'm doing big deadlifts and squats etc.

Nothing wrong with using safety equipment like lift belts etc. My dad fucked up his back when he was 30 and gave me a lifting belt, I tried squats with and without it and holy crap there's a big difference. Safety's #1 when you lift.

for sure if you dont have a reason to not use a belt and straps etc etc you probably should. No need to be tough guy and not so tough in a wheelchair or walking sticks when your 42 ;)

good job guys!

Keep up the hard work!

If anyone wants a KILLER cardio/full body workout youtube P90x Core Synergistics and use the one with the spanish guy in the blue shorts since the real things not there.
Or buy it

Its an hour long. Its a GREAT workout.

P90 was really good when I started and was mostly cardio, but once I got serious about lifting it was REALLY about figuring out splits. I would recommend Couch25K then P90X to anyone who wants to break into it though.
