It's so fucking unprofessional how they handled it. Make a hard decision and get rid of the show, fine. They could've at least gave them a warning or some sort. The fact that they just decide to do it on air, last second kind of thing is pretty gutless and fucked up.

Hosts couldn't even say good bye or anything lmao. Fuck Bell. "claims" they care about mental health, then do this bs rofl. How many did they cut?? like 200 jobs? wasnt this shit around for 20 years?? no notice, mid pandemic, gj.


Bell Canada received $122 million dollars from the CEWS program according to a February 8 article in the Toronto Star. Since receiving that government money, Bell has increased their annual dividend payment to shareholders by 5.1 percent and has now laid off hundreds of employees in their media sector. To me and I am sure to many others, this is an unacceptable abuse of the CEWS program. I am calling on you to take action and demand that Bell face consequences for improper use of government assistance. Corporations receiving the CEWS should not be permitted to increase dividends and lay off hundreds of employees. Bell must be held accountable for their actions.

They stole OUR money. Don't give these scumbags another dime. Switch providers. I know telecom in general is beyond scummy but at least you are picking the lesser evil if you kick Bell to the curb.

Our moronic government is largely to blame though. This is typical corporate behavior. The money should have been only given with a slough of caveats attached.

These corporate whores only speak money... No other language is relevant to them, so speak with your wallet. It is the only way they will listen.
