Man! Patrick Sharp hit the goal post on a breakaway.
Wild have had control of the puck most of this overtime.

Benn and Seguin had a 2-on-1 breakaway but Benn didn't finish.
2 amazing shots on goal for Dallas despite the Wild owning overtime so far.

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!

Tyler Seguin scores!!!! With just about one minute left in OT.

Stars win 4-3 in Overtime. Amazing game. The Stars rarely had control of the puck.

This is what turned the game around. The first Jamie Benn goal. Short-handed wrister.
Fans of the Wild were jumping for joy when they had a 3-0 lead. Too much game was left.

The Stars haven't played their best lately. Too many goals given up over the past week.
But still 19-5-0 (38 pts) and off to their best start in franchise history. Let's see if they win Tuesday Night at Calgary.

Anti Niemi is better than he's looked the past few games. 10 goals allowed in his last three starts. He has to get it together.

Actually they gave John Klingberg the goal that tied the game.
On NHL.com they credited him with the assist and Benn with his 2nd goal (they changed it a few minutes ago).

The overtime winner.

Per @EliasSports, the last time Stars won a game after trailing by 3+ goals in 3rd period was 3/30/07 @ DET. Trailed 3-0, won 4-3 in a SO.

Ok that was a pitiful loss.

I've been disappointed with the Stars recent play over the past week: Losing two of their last three games to the Flames in a shootout and to the Oilers in overtime. But they still picked up a point in both games and Anti Niemi is playing a little better which is encouraging.

All thing considered, they are 20-5-2 (42 points and best record in the NHL).
Also to note: They have seven more points than the second best team in the Western Conference.

There is still room for improvement with the Dallas Stars but even so they're still on a good pace to have the NHL's best record this season. Hopefully the Stars have a good game at home tonight against the Hurricanes. 21-5-2 and 44 points would make feel better.

This team is very capable of ripping off several wins in a row so it can make us forget about those losses really quick.

I want to see the Dallas Stars demolish the Carolina Hurricanes on home ice tonight.
The Stars are going to erupt for a 7-1 win or something along those lines. #GoStars

Win tonight's game for Kameron Watson.
They lost the last game he attended and he's going to attend the game tonight.

He has good seats. Right on top of the action.

Stars lead 5-1 after the 2nd period. :santa:

Patrick Eaves, Jamie Benn, Johnny Oduya, Tyler Seguin and Valeri Nichushkin all have goals.

This is the type of effort I was hoping to see tonight but they still have another period to play.
