Losing Marchand hurts but they showed they could do it without him last period of game 3. They played some of the worst hockey I’d ever seen from period 2 of game 2 to period 2 of game 3. Might’ve been a very different series if they came out and scored the 3 goals they could’ve easily had in period 1 of game 2. Still have faith but they’ve looked slow all playoffs and McAvoy has been atrocious. He needs to step it up if we’re to have a chance with the amount he’s playing

It’s not only the team being soft, it’s the lack of simple execution when games become important. Often fail to make basic open break out passes for example.
For the love of god can we stop dumping the puck into the zone.. bring the puck over the blue line, make a play, maintain possession.
Majority of the playoffs, we look like we’re shorthanded when 5 on 5
