Yeah Matthews outscored Eichel if you compare their draft -1 year, and both were in the same league.

He would have gone either #2 or #3.

Matthews would've went #2 behind McDavid, if he was drafted last year.
Would've been a choice between Matthews or Eichel at 2/3 depending on the team. No way in hell he would've dropped above 5 lmao
