Brodeur has shutouts in consecutive starts for the first time since April 3 (4-0 at Carolina) and April 6, 2010 (3-0 at Atlanta)..

Over last 4 starts, Brodeur has allowed 2 goals on 80 shots. Shows Devils aren't giving up many shots and he's not giving up goals.

In 5 starts since Marty said Schneider was team's No. 1, Brodeur is 4-1-0 and only loss was 1-0 to Flyers on Nov. 2.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, Martin Brodeur (41) is the 4th goaltender in NHL history to post consecutive shutouts at age 41 or older. TOR's Johnny Bower in 1968 (43), DET's Dominik Hasek in 2006 (41) and 2008 (42), and TB's Dwayne Roloson in 2011 (41) also did it.
