alright well this was bound to be controversial

First off, why: i always want leafs (ofc) and only bid on caps thinking i had lost the blues.

Once orchard failed to pay and i inherited the blues i had 3 teams before leafs auction began.

The rules state that you may pool but the bidder must hold the FG. It states that you may not win 3 teams but as pens already pointed out it doesn't say you cant hold more from transactions (i didnt even think of thay part as you can see i was trying to sell so i could buy leafs)

When nauki said he would do this we said it not allowed to pool for BL not thay pooling is disallowed.

Thia added fg to the pot, both in the 15% tax and in bidding pressure

I dont think this hurts anyone but i will obviously respect the opinions of the community.

By the rules it's fine.. it's just bypassing the 3 limit rule by paying extra tax. I couldn't afford any of the teams I wanted so it doesn't effect me but that rule is to let other people get the chance on teams. You made a fair bid on blues and the rules were stated before, if you didn't want the team you don't bid on them. Selling was allowed after the teams were auctioned but you guys made a deal before. Because of that stealth losses out on a team he was the legit top offer.

So like I said... "by the rules" it was ok, just a BM move to bypass the rules. If you're going to allow that just put no limit next year. The 15% tax is not the point of that rule..

i dont know whats problem if someone want to sell like 10% or 50% of team to me.

for example, you bought caps vs 1000fg, if you wanted to sell 10% of it to me vs 100fg, whats problem there?


that wouldnt happen if you let me bid normal way. im sure the most rule-following person in this forum, literally.

i had coyotes 50/50 with znick few season ago and there was no problems.

you can try to ban me from games, but its not gonna happen. there have allways been pm deals, and will allways be. u might think i didint get in games this year? you are wrong. i got in every game i wanted to get in. it just causes more and more mess when i have to do that all "hidden". you would be suprised if you saw all my pms.

The only reason I was fine doing it, is his third team was defaulted to him because someone else didn't pay.

No one forced him to bid on the Blues, when you bid, you can expect to win + it's clearly in the rules winner has to pay within a short delay if not next highest bid gets pot.

Getting blues at 400 is a good thing not a bad thing

Next year add either

1. Longer payment delays
2. Possible for 2nd highest bid to retract bid after payment default
3. Winning 2nd highest bid from payment delays does not count as one for the max 3 teams for highest bid win

I get it, it sucks Nearin wanted leafs and wouldn't have bet on caps if he knew he would have won blues. The best would have been to let the auctions end then try and negotiate with the leafs winner, not have someone buy them for you to bypass the rule since this creates a loophole and people can buy as many teams as they want by doing this.
