First overall is equivalent to the first pick in the 6th round this year. It's not a big enough prize to make extra rules over. My opinion.

It is actually a much more accurate scoring system. There is a reason why it's used by Yahoo. Someone who doesn't set their lines and loses the majority of the categories doesn't deserve the same amount of "points" as someone who lost an 8-6 matchup. The scoring is based on how good you are.

I don't mind it, just really punishes those that go AFK for a week or consider it a tank week
Finally got Yahoo uploaded to my iPad so now I'll be visiting the league more often - saves me from always setting up my lines 1-2 weeks in advance

you deserve to be punished if you go afk a week, the entire reason of a hockey pool like this is to stay active

but i just personally feel like this scoring system is way less competitive than a single win system

oh well, just wanted to voice my opinion

all good, I've enjoyed playing both ways ... honestly I'm just happy we were all able to get together to play another league
