Lol. Rolston fined for putting John Scott on the ice. Except he was already on the ice before the faceoff happened for the fight. That's a joke.

basically sent him out looking for blood...carlyle wasnt bright putting kessel out there seeing scott but yea

Any time scott is on the ice he is looking for blood. So never play scott is the moral of the story here.

Idk it just seems stupid. Nhl needs to ban fighting outright if they're gonna make it so hard to fight, cuz these fines and penalties are just stupid.

Can't ice someone just to fight
Can't fight with a visor on
Must wear a visor
Can't remove helmet to fight

They're like 99.99999% of the way there. I'd rather just have a game misconduct and standard 3 game suspension for both players.

Scott had already been out there. He was iced before the 10 minute mark so technically a personnel change wasn't made "late in the game."

Timeline was:

Sometime before 10:00, scott was on the ice
9:57 tropp scores a goal
10:01 tropp loses a fight and his head bounces off of the ice, possible concussion
10:01 scott is still on the ice
10:01 Carlyle puts kessel on, leafs have last change so Rolston CANNOT call Scott back
10:01 scott fights

The fight was 100% retaliation for Tropp getting injured. It wasn't Rolston putting him on the ice to fight because scott was already on.


Also I'm rofling looking at the nhl boxscore. If you google "leafs" right now it autofills "leafs sens brawl"
