Commoginger is a 7th defenseman that we got cheap who can play at a higher level.
Wings have plenty of cap space holland is fishing for the right move don't worry. We've got a lot of assets and we have some needs the season is a ways off don't fret.

Honestly the free agent pool isn't great and players are getting prepaid left an right with long contracts, wings are sitting back and let other teams get hung up on numbers down the road when the wings will have flexibility to take on salary in a trade which for a contender is very rare.

I'd rather have the same team and make a splash on the trade deadline then have erhoff for 10 years or jovo for 4. Holland isn't stupid.

I wasn't looking for any of that, but I also wanted to seee more than just getting commodore and losing rafalski while having the same team

That doesn't need to be addressed during free agency. Honestly if you want a really good top 6 or top 4 defenseman you are better off trading than rely on a weak free agency.

Also we are bringing up a dynamite young defenseman in smith and overhauling the coaching staff and getting rid of draper and osgood.
It's going to be a good team without any moves, add to the fact that wings have lots of cap space while other teams are in cap hell signing these high priced mediocore free agents puts the wings in a great position long term.
