I have no idea how much rent costs in your area and how much you make so it's hard for me to help you.

But if living with your parents is unbearable then find a room mate or 2 for sure.. be ready to enter the real life and work many hours + go to school. Not so easy

Ive seen a few 2 bedrooms near skytrains for 800-1000 a month.

That's so expensive... I hope you make atleast double that clear per month if you are planning on moving out

I assume , you split it like 50/50. Otherwise , I am not moving out spending 800 / month . I assume it would bel ike 400 each.

I'd suggest you get a job at home and get some savings going. Rent is always a huge portion of budget. Free rent is worth it if even for a year.

Idk what construction jobs are like around you but here it's somethibg like 17/hr minimum. Do that 40/wk for a year and you've got a few grand before going out on your own.

Off topic, do any of you tip for take out? I go to this place every other Thursday and never know if that's etiquette.

Im going back to school , so I dont think I'd be able to do 40 hours a week, but I could do that in the summer. Ill be doing personal training though.

But yes I agree , save up and such. I already have 10 grand saved , but I'd like to use some of that to travel europe.

I personally tip for takeout. Dx.
