According to @StapeNewsday,NYI not shopping Okposo... and @Russostrib,Wild aren't shopping Brodin.Teams are asking on both.

I think if Minnesota can't do a deal for bigger names like Boedker or Drouin they might circle back to Buffalo on McGinn if he's still there

Seeing how everyone bags on Russel, this is what I'll say about the guy.

Russel does all the nitty gritty stuff that makes you love him on your team. Blocks, smart defensively and competes every fucking night. His big con would be a lack of points/offence, but part of that is because in Calgary he has been paired with a more offensive d-man and he plays in a way that allows his partner to be more offensive. Certainly makes his partner better and makes everyone better around him, just doesnt necessarily translate to him putting up a lot of points or any recordable statistic.
