How are the Toronto Maple Leafs so bad record wise? I've only seen them twice (against the Stars ) but they look like a team full of energy and hustle. Just from what I've seen they look like a playoff team. 1-0 Maple Leafs after the 1st period in this game. They've out-scored the Stars 5-1 over four periods so far this season.

At this point I just hope the Stars pull out a win tonight. The Stars did look good the first 10 minutes, out-shot the Leafs 7-2 at one point, but couldn't cash in on at least three really good scoring chances. But I'm not too worried as they seem to score goals in bunches. They could easily explode for three or four goals after the intermission.

James Reimer looks like a wall out there every time he plays the Dallas Stars. Okay, I'm a little worried because of Reimer.

Klingberg's just been unbelievable. In his first 83 games in the NHL he's got 61 points.

That was a beauty in overtime. The Stars will not likely lose an overtime game. Benn, Seguin and Klingberg is a killer line.
They've won every overtime game they have played so far. 3-on-3 hockey, the Dallas Stars have the best team by far.

The Dallas Stars can improve to 30 points, 15-4-0, if they beat the Sabres on Tuesday.
They're already 5 points ahead of the next closest teams in the Western Conference.

I saw that the Avs dominated the Habs 6-1 on Saturday Night. The Canadians are now 13-2-1.
Maybe the Canucks can beat the Canadians tonight. I want the Stars to pass the Habs for the NHL's best record soon.

The Avs also blew out the Stars 6-3 earlier this season. But Colorado is only 7-9-1 on the season.
Just like the Maple Leafs are only 5-9-4 but defeated the Stars twice. Bad teams who can beat the best teams.

Luckily for the Stars they are done playing the Maple Leafs this season. And they don't play the Colorado Avalanche again until late January. So they can really go on a roll and perhaps have the NHL's best record soon enough.

I'm ready to watch the Stars and Capitals game in a few hours on Fox Sports Southwest.
What a matchup: Stars are 15-4-0 and the Capitals are 12-4-1.

I watched some of the Capitals' 2-1 OT win over the Red Wings last night on the NBC Sports Network.
They looked legit. Hopefully they will be a little tired tonight playing on back-to-back nights at home.

Meanwhile, the Stars go into tonight's game well rested and feeling pretty good as they should be.

If the Stars can pick up the road win tonight they have a favorable three-game home stand coming up against the Sabres, Senators and Canucks. They can start to flex their muscles with their points lead over every other team in the Western Conference.

Kari Lehtonen will be in net tonight at Washington: He's been absolute money lately. 8-1, 2.38 GAA after his early struggles this year. He's starting to become the #1 goaltender again with Anti Niemi already losing three games after his hot start.

That's the luxury of having two experienced netminders. You can always ride the one who's hot during the course of the long season. The Dallas Stars still have room for improvement despite being the best team in the Western Conference.

Anyone here actually live in Dallas? Going there in April for like 4 days and wondering what there is to do there. Also plan on seeing a Stars game.

Houston here. I'm closer than some but a few probably live in Dallas.
Tyler Seguin already put Dallas ahead 1-0. Klingberg with the assist.

That was a great game! The Stars beat the Capitals, 3-2.
Tyler Seguin, Cody Eakin and Jason Spezza all scored goals.
John Klingberg picked up two assists. 16-4-0 record. 32 points.

It's the Dallas Stars best record through their first 20 games in franchise history. Here was the first goal.

I'm ready to watch the game on Saturday Night against the Buffalo Sabres.
I don't think the Stars will lose another game for the rest of this month.

Can't wait to watch them play in April. Hopefully they have lots of scalpers in Dallas.

It's Dallas, the upper bowl tickets are probably like $15.
