Man the Vegas studied hard and was totally ready for the Canucks. I hope they bounce back for game 2, at least make it a tougher game for them even if it's another loss.

Vegas was all over Hughes, I guess they realized he's the only player on the backend that can pass/bring out the puck and the rest are skrubs. Saw a brief clip of Green tapping him that its okay for getting rekt out there, along with Sutter coming over to tell him to grow some balls. I hope Hughes goes super saiyan over 9000 for next few games, find out how to counter them. tough lesson for the kid.

Found the clip lol

losing here is definitively a learning lesson. the Knights just schooled us all night long. faster, more structured, better depth. not too different from the regular season outcomes tbh.

it will be critical to see how Green adapts but I don't know whether there are winning combinations. the general idea would be to try to slow them down, but outside of hard trapping how do you even do that when half the forwards skate in cement? even if we defend to pressure I think we'll see more of goals like Marchesseault's. I feel like we're in the same predicament as the Hawks, just can't match their depth and speed.

Series is over and not a surprise. Blues were never the "team to beat". It was always Vegas.

Nah man, now with Toffoli back... Anything can happen. Like Miller he's such a good enabler. Petey went on a mission and the Knight's struggled now that we have two super threatening lines.

Just need myers back to help the back end,
Benn and fatenberg has been getting destroyed on our end

Loving this young team, they're learning each time they get stomped. Good bounce back game for them, although having Toffoli back on the top 6 helped tremendously. Idk how Benning would let him walk, after showcasing his chemistry with Petey. I think giving up picks/assets to get rid of eriksson or Sutter etc. Would be the right move, if it means to keep Toffoli, markstrom and tanev at cheaper rate.

Kneejerking hard but how insane would it be if the Canucks somehow also beats Vegas and they face the avs or stars in the semi finals? Like Vegas was the biggest concern because I always felt the Canucks system/team isn't ready to beat them yet because their playstyle just straight up owns us. However today, they proved that they're beatable and the Canucks finally broke their undefeated record in regulatiom

Elias Pettersson in 12 playoff games, has 3 less points than Matthews (25 GP) and 2 less points than McDavid (17 GP)

GOAT
T00 sMaLL 4 NHl playoff performer

I'm more shocked by the fact that McDavid has that many games in playoffs lol
