"When you get less than 20 shots in a hockey game, that's not very hard to play against. I know Marty Brodeur is a first ballot Hall of Famer, but he could have had a cigarette and a cup of coffee and played that game. That's what's frustrating."
— Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper after the Lightning's 2-1 loss at New Jersey on Tuesday

Lightning had 4 sog after 30 minutes of play and he called a timeout and basically said the same thing to the NBCSN broadcasters. They had 13 sog the next 30 mins and a goal

Brodeur puts down rumors that he'd wave his no trade clause to play for a contender.

rumor: Martin Brodeur would consider waving no-trade if Devils aren't contenders.

Brodeur: "not thinking at all" about leaving Devils; "I want to be in the playoffs with this team"

Some older news:
Arnott retires
Olesz passes waivers; assigned to Albany
Maxime Clermont sent to Elmira from Albany

For tomorrows game:
Zajac probable (Ankle)
Volchenkov probable (Lower body)
Elias questionable (Upper body)
Merrill (facial lacerations / possible concussion)
Harrold (IR Upper Body)
Salvador (Foot)
Clowe (Head / possible concussion)

Zubrus-Loktionov-Jagr
Tedenby-Henrique-Ryder
Brunner-Zajac-Bernier
Carter-Gionta-Josefson/Janssen

Greene-Fayne
Volchenkov-Zidlicky
Gelinas-Larsson

Brodeur (will start)
Schneider

DeBoer said Janssen will play, so Josefson will probably be scratched - or possibly Tedenby and some other players moved around.
