Seriously tho. Why do we have soderberg and Comeau on the team. And why hasn't Sakic traded iggy.

I feel like this play sums up the Avs and should be totally unacceptable. I get that the Avs season is over but they should ALL be trying to build for something better next instead it just getting worse as it goes along.

Probably the most entertaining game I've watched so far. It'll be interesting to see the team on opening night next year. I'm all for trading Duchene for a top dman. Don't resign Mitchell or borque. If we could trade comeau that would perfect. Give greer a roster spot and then you still have quite a bit to spend on FA for 1 to 2 more pieces to spend on FA. I think the team will be far better next year but it will still take 2-4 years before they can really shape the team into something

Another blow to the avs. Poor management will put this "rebuild" to 4-6 years. Now.

Colorado Avalanche defenseman Tyson Barrie, who's been representing Team Canada at the World Championships, was ruled out for the remainder of the tournament Wednesday with a lower-body injury, but the ailment wasn't suffered on the ice.

Barrie lacerated his leg while wrestling with a teammate in his hotel room, reports TSN's Darren Dreger.

Dreger adds that Barrie was ruled out for precautionary reasons, but the incident proves the misfortunes of the Avalanche this year know no limits.

It's a tough loss for the undefeated Canadians, as the 25-year-old Barrie was tied for the team lead with seven points through three games.
