It was nice to see Tyler Seguin with the hat trick against his old team last night.
I want to see the Stars win another road game against the Hurricanes on Friday Night.

Wow! What a 4-1 win at Carolina tonight. Coming on the heels of that exciting win at Boston.
The Stars looked sluggish for the better part of two periods. Scored three goals in the 3rd period.
I was watching on Fox Sports Southwest and I fell asleep after the 2nd intermission.
Ales Hemsky scored his first goal of the 2015-2016 season.
I was worried they were going to call goalie interference but it was good.
Patrick Sharp, Radek Faksa and Jason Demers broke it open in the 3rd.
If the Stats can beat the Red Wings on Sunday afternoon they can come back home 12-3-0.
I still feel like they can play better even though they're 3rd in goals per game. 2nd best on the power play.
The scoring opportunities are always there. They always have a lot of shots on goal even when they don't score a lot.
Some of these games they just can't buy a goal for most of the game and then boom, boom, boom. they explode.

Stars moved up to 2nd in goals per game and 2nd on the power play in the entire league.
John Klingberg had that beautiful assist to Patrick Sharp on a power play goal in this game.
Only a 2-1 Stars lead in the 2nd period. The Red Wings aren't going away. Good game though. Kari Lehtonen and Jimmy Howard have both made some sensational saves otherwise this could be a 4-3 game already.
John Klingberg, I come away impressed with him every game. Is he the best young defensiveman in the league? Only 23.
I don't follow the other NHL teams all that closely to know the answer to that question.

That empty netter by Tyler Seguin makes it 3-1 Stars late. You can hear a pin drop at Joe Louis Arena.
But a silly penalty with 55 seconds left. Going to be a 6-on-4. The Red Wings still have a chance.
LOL. Well nevermind. Eakin with a short-handed, empty net goal. 4-1 Stars. Red Wings had poor passing there.

I hope the Stars beat the Maple Leafs at home tonight. The Maple Leafs defeated the Stars at Toronto 4-1 a little over a week ago. Anti Niemi just had a bad game in that one. That was the only game they lost on a great four-game road trip.
They're back at home and can reach 26 points, 13-3-0 record with a win. They still have the best record in the Western Conference. They better not overlook a bad-record team like Toronto again. 2-8-4. They rank near the bottom in almost every important category. Half their wins came against the Stars.
I would like to see the Stars come out energized tonight and win 6-2 or something along those lines.
