Honestly, I'm probably no worse than even (I think I had like 60k bankroll when I started?). This forum was giving me like 20-30k per week starting out. That makes me wonder if this is just a regression to the mean or just a bad week and things will eventually even out. Or maybe teams get more predictable in mid-season and Vegas has yet to adjust (early season is great for Vegas because fans/bettors are slow to realize which teams are good or bad).

Or maybe this forum is just so hot right now. :P

I personally think it's Vegas.
Some nights the picks seem so obvious for the odds value.
Like the superior team will be at home and like only -130 pretty often.

Maybe start making your own odds? People are still going to take them instead of not taking bets with other guys. Option or nah?

Well, Vegas should be better at setting lines than me lol. And that would require me to do more work every morning setting lines. I like just spending an hour before bed calculating bets without any extra work making threads and setting lines. Plus lines shift due to injuries and rest days, which my current system accounts for.

I think the issue is the lower volume of bets you get vs Vegas. Odds are made to attract both sides. With high volume of bets you get some on each side and the profit is in the odds. Vegas should make profit no matter who wins but you are playing vs the hockey forum since you get less on each side, and usually one favored over the other.

I've changed the way I bet and so far it's paying off lol

But yeah terps idk I hope you don't feel any obligation to keep these going
