I was going to make fun of you for using gloves to handle a fish but those pike are extra slimy and that water is probably cold as shit so good idea bro :thumbsup:

Yeah, I don't have a ton of experience with fishing, but I'm really getting into it. I learned yesterday that I'm suppose to wet my hand and hold it under the gill. So I went out today and will upload more pictures later. I got a nice sized pickerel today. The reason for the wetting the hand is because pickerel have a mucous layers on their skin that protects from disease and what not. If that is removed, it could do damage to the fish. So yeah, no gloves today B)
