As long as we don't get the bruins in the first round I'm good

we can only face the bruins in the first round if we get into the 7-8th spot and that no other team in that division is in it.

u guys think the rangers will make it? i dont
prob easier to play against with no cally and MSL doesnt really seem to be doin fuck all without stamkos
got afeelin the caps r going to take their spot ... i think with halak they wil lbe able to push and make up the points there behind
maybe the wings take it if they get healthy soon enough

I think the jackets Canadians and rangers with us make those final 4 spots

Also raffl has shown a lot that kid can play. I can see why berube put him with giroux at first. He wasn't ready then but I can see him making top 6 next year

i kinda wish berube would demote downie and put raffl on the 3rd line with couts n read ...fuck they get chances on the pk imagine them 5 on 5 lol
and yeah as a FA pickup from swedens 2nd league raffl has impressed me and he gives 100% every game you cant ask for more then that specially from a euro sometimes there lazy and stuff... not this guy
when we got him they general prediction was give him a year in the nhl and hes going to adapt and become a pretty good producer... hes already at 20 which is pretty good for how much hes moved around on the roster seems like he can play with anybody

I was thinking the same thing. I think by the playoffs he is playing with Read and Coots on our shutdown line. Downie is too inconsistent. He is either in beast mode or invisible. Now this is why I am still upset about the Talbot trade because Talbot Hall Rinaldo is a solid 4th line. Plus Talbot can kill penalties too and is clutch in playoffs with a manageable contract. Only good thing about Downie is that he comes off the books next year so we can hopefully resign Macdonald who has played awesome so far.

i agree i like the macdonald pick up hes not an allstar but hes one of those guys that seems to do the right things at the right time
whether hes on the 2nd with streit or3rd with schen nhe solidifies the d on that line allowing us to pair timo+corburn

im fairly neutral on the downie for talbot trade...talbot was making a bit much imo and had a decent term
like you said downie is off the books next year ... if we resign him its prob for like 2m tops or we can let him walk were not handcuffed by the length
no doubt talbot is a gg pk and always gives his fullest n would make a good 4th line... but do we really need him ?with guys like couts read raffl hall ect ect our pk is fine..downie has a bit more versatility but hes seems to have lost his groove

id like to see gust play more too but he was inconsistent 1 game he would look really good next it would be like ermagerd get him off the ice ... hes a good 7th d man and with our prospects n shit ... he prob wont become more then that on philly
