dumping Eriksson before his last season is a must because it's reeeaally unlikely we can fit both Hughes and Petterson's new deals without needing to move another important piece. maybe with the economy being hit more owners will look to cheapen out and Eriksson being light on money will be attractive.

it's hopeless to rely on Benning for either drafting or managing the cap so I really fucking hope he's canned as soon as possible. if Aquaman is smart he'll know the impression of normalcy by keeping him will be far costlier than the damage he's due to inflict long-term.

I think we will be OK for drafting even with the loss of Brackett, I mean it will be worse without him for sure but still better than gillis days. it got so fucking bad, and so many people started talking about it that Benning had to clarify directly to Boeser he wasn't shopped or anything like that recently. Boeser let people know his disappointment and the timing of it too lol.

I doubt he's off base though. Benning wants to lockdown Toffoli long term and that's not going to happen without having to move contracts by next season.
