So Sekeres said on radio that Boeser is on the trading block. Benning must be trying really hard to resign Toffoli. Makes sense from a value perspective but he should've never gotten in that position, odds are the return won't be that good.

Honestly I would prefer to lose some picks to offload some of the bad contracts like Sutter.
I think the only reason the Canucks would trade boeser is if the return is too good to say no, and if he doesn't play beside Petey&miller he's not as effective on any other line. Whereas Toffoli might work with pearson/horvat.

If that's his ask then I think I'd sacrifice picks to offload bad contracts. A lot of teams will look to do that tho so idk how many we'd be able to move.
