Probably. I assume they rather re-sign Okposo than give up a good asset for Eberle (both would play in the same slot).

He could still go to the Jets if they can't get Trouba re-signed. Rumor is he wants his big contract right now instead of a bridge so the Jets might trade him.

- Jamie McGinn is available for a 2nd rounder (3rd liner on a contender).

- Canucks coach Desjardins likely won't be fired during the season but all bets are off in the summer.

- Lots of teams monitoring Roman Polak, he'll definitely be traded by the deadline.

- Panthers are looking to add a middle-6 winger and bottom-3 PK D-man.
