Send these guys down:
Harrold (Right D): 6ft, 185lb is very small for the NHL. He's -4 with no points in 8 games, hits just over once every other game, misses a shot twice for every 3 he takes
Gionta (C): Love this guy's passion and energy, but he's just so small - just over 5 1/2 feet and 185lbs.. he shouldn't be a center; terrible in the face off circle. 1 point (an assist) in 8 games. The silver lining with him is that he rarely ever gives the pick away, takes it away from other players a lot, and isn't afraid to hit someone, but who's going to even feel a hit from a guy of his size?
Fayne (Right D): ok well maybe it's too early to be asking to send this guy down since he's only played 2 games, but he's managed to have 3 missed SOG but 0 that actually went to the goalie in 2 games.. ? Ok well he's a defenseman.. that has given the puck away 4 times in the 2 games he's played..
Josefson (C): Only 2 games played here as well but he's registered 2 shots and 1 hit in 20 minutes total.. it's like a waste of a perfectly fine roster spot not to mention he only won 5 of 12 in the faceoff circle.. which is an awful %.
Larsson (Right D): where to begin.. he's a pretty big guy and still growing because he's young still, but 0 points in his 6 gp and a -5 really stand out. How he manages to get in no points in 85 1/3 minutes while racking up a -5 is beyond me.. he gave the puck away 4 times in 6 games while making 0 takeaways.. I feel like this team could dress a better dman with such great defense depth.
On the boarder: Loktionov (C), Clowe (LW), Tedenby (LW), Brodeur (G), Brunner (RW), Carter (LW) - need to start stepping their games up in a lot of ways.

Bring these guys up:
Merrill (Left D): This guy has always impressed me stats wise. Big guy @ 6' 3" and nearly 200 lb and still growing due to being young (21). He's +2 and has 0.8 PPG in the AHL right now after only 5 GP. I think he's ready to make the jump.
Gelinas (Left D): Very similar to Merrill in many ways. Even bigger guy @ 6' 4", 210 lbs who's also growing (only 22). He's 0.6 PPG and +2 in the AHL after only 5 GP too. Should be ready to make the jump soon.
Bell (LW): Medium size but heavy guy @ 6', 215 lbs. He turned 20 in August so perhaps it'd be wise to let him grow a little more before putting him into the NHL, but he's at 1 PPG after 8 GP and +6 in the WHL. Stats speak for themselves although he's averaging near 1.875 PIM/GP which isn't terrible, but not the best either.
On the boarder: Wedgewood (G), Boychuk (LW), Severson (Right D), Timmins (C), Hoeffel (LW), Hrabarenka (Right D), Kujawinski (C), Young (Left D), Santini (Right D), Boucher (C) - keep up the good work and I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these names over the next year or two especially with many players retiring in the near future.

On a more positive note, I'm really really impressed with Schneider, Olesz, Jagr, Zubrus, Volchenkov, Zajac, & Bernier thus far. And pretty happy with Henrique, Elias, & Salvador. Hope they continue to play like they have or even better.

Team is the oldest in the league.. we need some big YOUNG guys with a lot of energy which WE HAVE..

Having Zubrus center permanently as opposed to being a RW, would give us lines similar to this:

Elias - Zajac - Jagr
Olesz - Henrique - Ryder
Bell - Zubrus - Brunner
Carter - Loktionov - Bernier

Volchenkov (L) - Zidlicky (R)
Merrill (L) - Salvador (L)
Gelinas (L) - Greene (L)

Schneider
Brodeur

IR: Clowe

Now the large group of left dman might be an issue; perhaps bringing Severson up instead of Gelinas would help at the very least..
Volchenkov - Zidlicky
Salvador - Severson
Merrill - Greene
