Being healthy is not the same as playing longer.

But yeah, I love Mario but the arguments that he could have surpassed Gretzky are a bunch of what if while Gretzky actually did it. What Lemieux did 2000-2001 is insane though. Did not play the last 3 seasons, comes back with a bad back and still manage to score 76 points in 43 games :rofl:

If Mario would have cherry picked more often.. maybe. But to be successful you need to play defense too.

I bet if you waved a hand in front of don cherry's face he would fall, break his hip then die of an infection while he awaited surgery in a Kingston hospital
