NBA suspended the season and nhl will release a statement soon, so if they were to end the season, the Canucks would make the playoffs as 3rd seed in pacific division based on points percentage per game played. However nhl might also just allow more teams to go into playoffs for best of 5? idk

It's the NHL so it probably won't go by points per game played lol. Here's what dreg reported

Darren Dreger on NBC Sports Network just said the NHL could suspend play Thursday, cancel the rest of the regular season and eventually resume with the playoffs. Meaning the Wild would finish one point out of the postseason. Crazy times. (and the Canucks would finish in a wild card spot)

Think it'd be a mistake to do it like that. They should take some of the teams with a mathematical chance of making it in to play in a wild card matchup, make it a BO5 or something.
