Guy was a consistent 70~ point two-way player before coming to Boston. It was a new team and he had concussion issues, so it's not a surprise that he struggled. Good thing you guys didn't dump him for nothing last year like a lot of Bruins fans wanted.


Yea I thought he was a good piece in the Seguin trade, he's definitely benefitted from the more offensive/pp system this year.

It would be nice to dump Connelly with him :/

Does anyone know how claims like this work?
If the player is approached, does the approaching team have some kind of right vs the rest of the league? Or does the player get to exclusively pick any team (more likely)?

Just curious why he'd pick Toronto vs other locations. You see this often so you'd *think* all the non drafters would pick contenders. Maybe he has friends.

It's not like MLS, he goes wherever he goes. The same contract no matter where (depending on his age I think?)

Lightning reportedly offer Stamkos $68M / 8 years for 8.5M a year
It is believed that Stamkos camp has not yet countered but has rejected the initial offer.
We'll see how this plays out. He is expected to command somewhere in the $11M range.
