Babs said Darren Helm will center the second line tonight.

Helm will center line number 2 alongside Daniel Alfredsson
and Tomas Tatar.

Johan Franzen is out for tonight's game and was placed on short-term IR with an upper-body injury.

Luke Glendening will take Mule's spot in the lineup.

Xavier Ouellet will be on the blue line after Almquist was sent back to Grand Rapids.

Stephen Weiss is out tonight with a groin injury.

Jimmy Howard will get the nod in goal.

Franzen (illness) appears to be set to return on Tuesday.
Franzen has missed the last four games and five of the last six games with an illness. He was skating on the Red Wings second line with Daniel Alfredsson and Darren Helm in Monday's practice. Franzen has struggled to two goals and three assists in 13 games.
