Drouin is so over rated. I wouldnt send Shattenkirk and a prospect for a prospect that has yet to prove he can play consistently

Blues don't know if they can pay him after next year. But really tho. If that's the case. I think you find a way to pay him.

Yeah eventually you're going to have to pay your top players. You're not going to win with the entire team on ELCs.

I know they think they have some D depth and need more scoring but really they need to keep that D depth and add to scoring otherwise it's just creating a hole to fill another.

blues are going through a tough time right now, and until they get rid of hitchcock and see if this team can play in a more open system that fits the amount of skill we have, its gonna continue to be tough.

Getting rid of shattenkirk will be a huge mistake. Colorado made that mistake huehuehue

i agree, but if we cant fit him under the cap, then we cant do it.

shattenkirk is a hell of a player, but pietrangelo is better.

shattenkirk is awesome for the powerplay and brings a ton of offense from the blue line, but hes regressed defensively. he loses his man so many times and is the key reason why we give up alot of goals.


that being said, unless our GM gets an offer he cant refuse or feels we arent a playoff team this year, i dont see us moving shattenkirk until the offseason at the earliest.

I really hope Hextall is working hard the phones to try and get Shattenkirk. We need top-end dman and espetially Right dman since the pipeline is filled with Left D

just make an offer we cant refuse.
